Shipping
Order Processing
- Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped.
Carriers
- We primarily use USPS, FedEx, or UPS for shipments within the United States.
Transit Times
- Domestic (US): 2-5 business days for standard shipping. Expedited options (1-2 business days) are available at checkout for an additional fee.
Shipping Insurance
- Optional shipping insurance is available for $2 at checkout. This add-on covers packages lost in transit and not delivered to the provided address, as confirmed by the carrier’s tracking information.
- To file an insurance claim, contact afuegolentoseasoning@gmail.com within 7 days of the expected delivery date, providing the order number and relevant details.
- Insurance does not cover packages confirmed as delivered by the carrier (see Delivery Fulfillment). Claims are subject to our Fraud Prevention policy.
Shipping Restrictions
- We currently ship only within the United States, including all 50 states and US territories. We do not offer international shipping.
- Some bulk or oversized items may have shipping restrictions or additional fees, which will be noted at checkout.
Address Accuracy
- Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping addresses. A Fuego Lento Seasoning is not liable for delays, lost packages, or additional costs due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.
Delivery Fulfillment
An order is considered fulfilled once the carrier confirms delivery to the address provided by the customer. If the carrier’s tracking information confirms drop-off, A Fuego Lento Seasoning is not responsible for packages that are subsequently lost, stolen, or misplaced. Optional shipping insurance, available at checkout, covers only cases where the package is lost in transit and never reaches the provided address. For claims of non-delivery, contact us at afuegolentoseasoning@gmail.com within 7 days of the expected delivery date. We will investigate with the carrier, but we are not liable for packages confirmed as delivered unless covered by shipping insurance. We reserve the right to deny claims if tracking evidence indicates successful delivery.
Temporary Addresses
For orders shipped to hotels, temporary residences, or third-party locations, we are not responsible for packages that are misplaced, misdelivered, or received after your departure. Please ensure someone is available to receive the package.
Returns, Refunds, and Replacements
Eligibility
We offer refunds or replacements for:
- Defective, damaged, or incorrect items.
- Missing items from your order.
Non-Returnable Items
- Items purchased more than 30 days prior.
- Products that have been opened or used (unless defective).
- Bulk or wholesale orders, unless explicitly agreed upon at purchase.
Return Process
- Contact us at afuegolentoseasoning@gmail.com within 30 days of receiving your order to initiate a return or report an issue.
- Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and photos of any damaged or defective items.
- Approved returns must be shipped back within 14 days of approval, in original packaging, to our designated return address.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the issue is due to our error (e.g., incorrect or defective items).
Refunds
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days of receiving the returned item.
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the error was on our part.
- For unclaimed, refused, or returned packages, a handling fee of up to $15, plus return shipping costs, may be deducted from the refund.
Replacements
- For defective or incorrect items, we will ship a replacement at no additional cost, subject to availability.
- If a replacement is unavailable, a refund or store credit may be issued at our discretion.
Store Credit
In certain cases (e.g., minor issues or customer preference), we may issue store credit instead of a refund. Store credit is valid for 12 months from issuance.
Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and packaging. We will file a claim with the carrier and provide a replacement or refund, as appropriate.
Fraud Prevention
We reserve the right to refuse returns, refunds, or insurance claims for suspected fraudulent activity, including repeated claims of non-delivery despite carrier confirmation of delivery or repeated reports of defective items.
Additional Terms
Order Cancellations
Orders can be canceled before they are processed (typically within 24 hours of purchase). Contact us immediately at afuegolentoseasoning@gmail.com. Once an order is processed or shipped, it cannot be canceled, but you may return it per our policy.
Price Adjustments
We do not offer price adjustments for items purchased before a sale or promotion.
